Below is what Gosia wrote for you…. And my picture attachments. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 kg cucumbers (fresh and firm)
7-10 cloves of garlic (depending on their size)
Half a bunch Dill
1 tbls rock salt
1 l boiling hot water
Preparation: wash the cucumbers thoroughly, cut off the tips and cut them all the way through in three places – upper, middle and down part of the cucumbers. Place the cucumbers into a clay pot preferably but the rumour has it a plastic bottle will do as well. Cut the garlic cloves into halves and put them into the pot add the dill. Pour the brine immediately after preparing it.
Brine preparation: 1 tbls of rock salt dissolve in 1 litre of boiling hot water.
David claims the pickles are ready when the brine in the pot gets cold. I think that if you leave them for the night they get even better. By the way, I’ve learn how to make pickles from my in-laws!
