Ingredients:
for a 10 lbs bird
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 1/2 tablespoons salt
- 1/2 tablespoon black pepper (may also use white pepper)
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 5 -6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions:
1 Mix all ingredients in food processor or blender.
2 Mix until thoroughly blended (about 2-4 minutes).
3 Transfer into flavor injector and inject turkey in several places.
4 Deep fry turkey as usual (about 3 minutes per pound).
